WONCA Polaris was formed on 19th March 2014 and was named after the brightest celestial body that can be seen from the organization’s three territories: Canada, The Caribbean, and The USA. We are dedicated to work with WONCA Young Doctors’ Movement to provide young family doctors with opportunities, support, and community to thrive during their career.

Dr. Brunèe Dorsett is an early career Family Physician with strong interests in lifestyle medicine and physician wellness. She is an advocate for better work-life experiences for doctors seeing the need to reshape the healthcare culture for improved physician satisfaction and joy in the workplace. For fun she enjoys drawing, playing piano, snorkeling, and pursuing personal development.
Get to know Brunèe
Brunèe is very excited to fortify and support the Polaris community, leading the way to sustainable development and strategic change. Some of her initiatives this term include: PolaRISE Mentorship Program, the empowerED Podcast, and PolarUS Coffee Break and General Membership Meetings.​
